Ryo Wakatabe

Ryo Wakatabe is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Tokyo. He received his master's degree in Information Science and Technology (Mechano-informatics) and his bachelor's degree in Technology from the University of Tokyo.
He is interested in how tactile information can contribute to dynamically dexterous robots. His research is focusing on extracting the principle of a dexterous manipulation with data glove which can simultaneously measure human hand motion and tactile information. This information is analyzed with methods applicable to constructing robots, for example variance and kinetic analyses
