1) IEEE-PRIME conference

Place&date: Glasgow (UK), 29th June-2nd July 2015.
Event description: PRIME has been established over the recent years as an important conference where Ph.D. students can present their project results and can get in contact with people from industry and research. At PRIME 2015 the participation of researchers, university professors and companies working in the field of microelectronics and electronics will be fostered, so as to provide useful feedback onto the presented research results.
Attendees: many hundreds people including students, staff members, professors and external visitors.

2) Graduate School’s Annual Research Poster Competition

Event description: annual poster competition between PhD students belonging  to different UCL departments, such as Physics, Engineering,  Medicine, Chemistry, Biology

3) CMMP PhD presentations day,

Place&date:  UCL, Gower Street, WC1E 6BT, London, 3-4 March 2014.
Event description: PhD students have been giving a talk about the innovative work they have been carrying on throughout the period spent as part of Condensed Matter and Materials Physics (CMMP) group, within the department of Astronomy and Physics.
Attendees: approximately 50 students, 10 professors and several staff members all belonging to CMMP group.
