The summer school will be held at Hotel Katane Palace, located in the historical center of Catania, which is one of the most attractive areas in Sicily between the sea and Etna. Catania has had a long and eventful history, having been founded in the 8th century BC. In the 14th century and the Renaissance, Catania was one of Italy's most important and flourishing cultural, artistic, and political centers. Today, Catania is one of the main economic, touristic, and educational centers in the island, being an important hub of industry, thus gaining the nickname, "Etna Valley".

Catania Fontanarossa Vincenzo Bellini Airport is about 10 km far.

At your arrival to the airport, you can call either Taxi Caller Sicilia (+39 095 6188) or Radio Taxi Catania (+39 095330966) or reserve online using the web sites or;
Price from the airport to the hotel is about 20€;
Note: It is not recommended to take other taxis available in front at the arrivals exit (More expensive!).

By Bus – Local Public Transport:

At the arrivals exit take the Bus Line 457 (Alibus-orange color)
You need to buy your ticket before travelling and validate it on the vehicle. Tickets are sold inside the airport (one way ticket 1 €) or directly on the bus (one way ticket 1.60 €).
ATTENTION: Between 12 pm and 5 am there is no transport.
